SINGLE ON PURPOSE
I am 68 years young and have had many life experiences with dating, marriage and dating again! In the meantime, I am continuing to develop myself, learning and growing in all ways possible!
I am actively trying to make new women friends too, as friendships are important to me. In my next posting, I will insert my poem about FRIENDSHIP that I wrote in June 2020.
As some of you may know, I am also an artist of some sort. I make my own collages, greeting cards and jewelry. There are some photos in my website of my pieces. Recently, I made a new necklace and earrings that I will wear for the holiday, which may have passed by the time you read this. I am ordering in a nice dinner for myself, watching the new Wonder Woman movie, and simply enjoying the day without work! I am treating myself well.

I enjoy my creativity and want to do more! I started taking art classes in 2013 after I broke up with an ex-boyfriend in 2012. His vocation was photography with a film camera, and he developed the photos on his own. He didn’t live near me and had a house with a darkroom in another state. He showed me how to develop photos. That was one of the positive things that came out of the relationship and there were many more! Sadly, there were many negative things too, and that’s why I broke up with him. When I was in Jr. High School, I took a vocational test, and the highest score was “artistic!” My response was “I can’t make a living out of that.”
I now completely accept my strengths and use them a lot! I also wrote down what I am seeking in a new relationship and I don’t plan on settling! I have written a Dream Manifesto of the qualities I desire and read it often.
I realize it is very difficult to date right now due to the pandemic, but I am not wasting my time. I encourage you to use this time to develop yourself, practice self-care and self-compassion, and then when the time is right, you will be ready to find your dream partner!
