COVID 19 VACCINES ARE HERE!
I was wondering what to talk about today and all of a sudden, it came to me, what’s been on our minds! The Covid vaccine!
The light is at the end of the tunnel and we need to be grateful! I have been very frustrated trying to obtain an appointment and all were filled already. On Friday, January 15, 2021 when I am writing this, I received an email from my primary doctor that they will be receiving the vaccines and to complete a form to be put on the waiting list. I am over 65, now eligible and so grateful so this made my day! I am very excited to begin help the country get back to a “new normal.” It will be very different than before the pandemic. I never thought I would be so happy to obtain a vaccine but one never knows.
I hope everyone gets the vaccine as “Enough is enough!”
We will still need to wear masks but there will be more freedom to do things. I just read that Dr. Fauci says that theaters could open in the Fall with air filtration systems and wearing masks! That’s OK with me! As long as I can go to live theater again and go with friends!
Hopefully, we will reach herd immunity by then. Let’s all contribute to the health of others and follow the science to return to our lives! It is not a political thing at all as it is a moral and the right thing to do! Do you want to return to your life? That is the question.
